Reviews
“Europe 4 Europe is a wonderful and unique opportunity. And it’s crazy: we all had things in common, despite coming from such different places”

Thinking about E4E just brings many fond memories back to me. It has been a few years since I´ve participated in the program, but till this day, it has taught me how to work and interact in an international context. It opened my eyes to the many benefits of living in the European Union; one of them being the accessibility of cross-border travelling in Europe and how it can bring like-minded individuals in contact with each other.
Today, across the European Union, I have many friends that I´m still in contact with and from time to time visit. The memories and amazing moments that we experienced will always stay with me.

Program (6-24 July)
We are still working on the program. Once it’s finalised, you can read about it here.
Important
Cost
The organizing Rotary clubs will cover the accommodation costs during the exchange. We ask you to make a personal contribution of €300 and pay your own travel costs to arrive in Luxembourg on July 6 and travel home from Italy on July 24.
The origins of E4E
In 1951, six countries (Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) founded the European Coal and Steel Community. In 1958 it became known as the European Economic Community (EEC). In 1993 the name was changed to European Union. In 2006, six Rotary clubs from the founding countries of the EU came up with the idea to offer young people from the EU member states the opportunity to get to know the six founding countries better by experiencing the culture and cities together.
These Rotary clubs from six countries organize the 2024 edition, create the program and guide you during the three weeks:
Rotary Club Landgraaf (Netherlands)
Rotaract Parkstad (Netherlands)
Rotary Club Maaseik (Belgium)
Rotary Club Maasland-Lanklaar (Belgium)
Rotary Club Meda e delle Brughiere (Italy)
Rotary Club Appiano Gentile e delle Colline Comasche (Italy)
Rotary Club Thionville Porte de France (France)
Rotary Club Mosbach-Buchen (Germany)
Rotary Club Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis (Germany)
Rotary Club Luxembourg Hearts (Luxembourg)
The exchange fits perfectly with the objectives of Rotary International:
promoting peace in the world through better mutual understanding.
Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
